  3. Right to keep and bear arms. SECOND AMENDMENT FREEDOM

  4. THIRD AMENDMENT FREEDOM No quartering of troops in private homes.

  5. No warrant shall be issued unless on probable cause and it will describe place to be searched and persons or things to be seized. FOURTH AMENDMENT FREEDOMS • The right against unreasonable searches and seizures.

  6. Indictment of grand jury • Witness against self • Deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process of law • Private property for public use without compensation FIFTH AMENDMENT FREEDOMS • No double jeopardy

  7. Speedy and public trial • Impartial jury • Informed of the nature and cause of accusation • Confront witnesses against • Able to obtain witnesses for • Assistance of counsel for defence SIXTH AMENDMENT FREEDOMS

  8. Suits at common law, the right to trial by jury shall be preserved SEVENTH AMENDMENT FREEDOMS • The value of the suit shall exceed

  9. No excessive bail • No excessive fines • No cruel and unusual punishment EIGHTH AMENDMENT FREEDOMS

  10. The enumeration in the Constitution of certain rights shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people. NINTH AMENDMENT FREEDOMS • Give an example of a freedom not found listed in the Constitution that the Supreme Court says is found here. • Abortion

  11. Powers not delegated to the United States nor prohibited to the States are reserved to the States or to the people. TENTH AMENDMENT FREEDOMS
