Wayne Preno is a businessman and professional entrepreneur who has been running Bright and Early Daycare, Philadelphia and Bright and Early Preschool, Cheltenham, PA, for 12 years. One of the most important things to him is promoting health, fitness, and nutrition to the parents and their children. By reinforcing good eating and exercise habits now, he hopes that the children will continue these habits as they grow older and can make their own choices.

Wayne Preno For the Kids Wayne Preno is a businessman and entrepreneur who recently opened up Bright and Early Daycare, northeast Philadelphia in 2003, and Bright and Early Preschool, Cheltenham, in 2005. Where he differs from most others in the business is that he is not so much concerned with the profits he generates, but taking care of the kids and being involved in their lives. Bright and Early offers a FDA sponsored food program that offers fresh fruits and vegetables on a daily basis. His goal is to create a nurturing atmosphere that is conducive to learning both academic and social skills that will carry over in the child’s life. Bright and Early also has the largest after school program in the Philadelphia area.

One of the main focuses of his establishments is to ensure that each child receives the proper foundation to build off of once they are ready to enter kindergarten. He accomplishes this by keeping many learning tools and establishing a curriculum for the kids that promotes both independent exploration and group learning. He wants to make sure that these kids are ready and well-adjusted by the time they go to school.
