Landfill Design • Will meet TCEQ requirements • 430,000 cy volume, 5 acre Footprint • 25 ft deep and 25 feet above grade • 125’ buffer zone around landfill • Will utilize a 1600 sq ft work area and compact a 3ft depth of trash 6” cover over compacted trash • Work area will be able to process 177,000 lbs of trash • Waiting and truck inspection area at landfill entrance

  11. Other Alternatives • Go With 12 year landfill design, cheaper upfront cost, higher long term cost • Coordinate with the City of College Station to make use of the Twin City Landfill.
