  2. Veterans are American men and women who are serving or have served our country in our Armed Forces.

  3. Veterans are everywhere. They could be teachers, postal workers, doctors, firemen, or any person walking their dog.

  4. We honor them because they sacrifice many things in their lives to keep us free.

  5. For Example: • Holidays with their families • Special events with their kids • Their own personal safety

  6. When we see a Veteran we should thank them for their service to America.

  7. Beck Elementary 5th grade would like to honor our Veterans by donating money to help make our Veterans’ Memorial at Independence Park more beautiful.

  8. Please bring your cash donation to our Living Museum this Thursday and Friday.
