  1. Information on R410 refrigerant It is a mixture of two Refrigerant, better to Charge in liquid state Pressure Conditions are Approx. 60% higher With R-410A Synthetic Oil absorb moisture quickly, should Not be exposed to atmosphere

  2. Information on R410 refrigerant • R410A gas is a mixture of 2 Refrigerants : HFC32 + HFC-125 ( 50:50) • Compressors for R410a are different , • The standing pressure is about 200 to 220 psi • The limit for discharge and suction pressure at 350C ambient temprature is 410psi and 130 psi respectively. • The oil used in R-22 compressor is Mineral oil where as  in R-410a  Synthetic oil is used(POE) poly oil ester oil which is completely miscible as mineral oil is not Miscible with HFC. • The major precaution is to be taken is that for compressor, since POE absorbs moisture at faster and higher rate than mineral oil. So compressor plug should not be plugged Until it is set. • Also nitrogen must be swept through the system to prevent copper oxide formation during brazing. • It is also recommended that even after brazing all tubes , proper nitrogen flushing must be done , and then deep vacuumization to be done for the system and then only gas charging to be done. • Also it is recommended that H.P switch should be used for compressor protection. • Gas charging for R410A refrigerant should be done with inverted gas Cylinder.
