  2. UMBRELLA • This slide presentation will show you how to input a New Business Umbrella policy. • Let’s Begin!

Umbrella: • As Umbrella’s are generally an addition to an existing account, here is what you will usually see on the Customer Selection Page. • From the Customer Selection Page, Click on the Drop Down Box and Click on Last Name, State and Zip Code and click on the Search Button. • This should produce a listing of that customer’s policy information. Double Click on to the customer name within the list. (Example: In our example the name of the customer is “Travelersma”.) After Clicking Search, all matches Display here on the list.

  4. Online Quoting Customer Information Page: • From the Left Navigation Bar on the account list screen you will see the Atlas 3- Other Property Lines Link. Click on this link and it will bring you to the screen shown below. • Click the drop down box for Line of Business and Click PLUS. • Complete all the fields (Social Security Number is not required). • If the customer has other lines of business with us, such as a Homeowners, Auto, PAF, or Homesaver, enter the policy information • Click the Forward button to continue.

  5. Location of Property Page: • On this page you will type the Effective Date. Do not type anything into the Rate Date field. The system will generate the Rate Date. • Click on the Forward Button to Continue.

  6. Underwriting Information: • Please answer all the questions appropriately. Once you have completed this page, click the forward button.

  7. Additional Underwriting Information: • Complete anything applicable to this policy. Once it is complete click the Forward button at the bottom of the page. • Remember: By clicking on the Notepad you can enter a message about the customer, policy or any additional information that you would like the underwriter to consider or know. Once you have completed the underwriting notes, press the “Enter Key” to return to the prior page.

  8. Additional Information • Indicate the current underlying liability insurance. Please indicate the name of the insurance company. • Click the Forward button to proceed.

  9. Household Members: • On this screen you are required to input all Household members’ information. • When completed, click the Forward button to proceed.

  10. Travelers Coverage’s Page: • On this page you will need to enter the liability limit you are requesting as well as complete any other necessary information. • NOTE: If at anytime you need help, tab to the field and click the help button. To return click the ENTER key. • Once this page is completed click the Forward button.

  11. Residences Information Page: • On this page the system should have already prefilled the Primary Residence information. If not, please verify that the primary residence information is completed. If the customer has any additional owner occupied residences, please complete that information. Please click the forward button to proceed.

  12. Automobile/Miscellaneous Vehicle Information: • On this screen enter in the description and information on all vehicles. Click the Forward button to go to the next page. • Please note that you do not need to input the serial number for the vehicles.

  13. Price Selection Information: • On this page you will need to input an “X” in the Refer/Issue field. The Mail ID should prefill with your assigned underwriter. The initials of the underwriter appear in the last three-digit box, in this example “KES”. Underwriting Initials.

  14. EFT Marketing: • Select print or close. If you close you continue on to the following page.

  15. Property Quotation Page: • Based on information that you have entered the system presents a quote. • You will want to print this page to provide a quote to your customer. On the page, click the right button on your mouse. This should bring up a grey box where one of the options is to print. The system does not currently provide a Print Quote Option. • Click on Forward to continue.

  16. Billing Information: • Complete the applicable Information for Billing Options and Click on the Forward Button.

  17. Policy Issuance: • The assigned policy number is displayed on this page. In addition on this page you will find the “Agency ID for Insured” field. In this field you will enter your id to your Agency Management System so that the information is included in your download.

  18. Quote Status Information Page: • This is the final page for completing the Umbrella Quote. You can see that it was referred to an Underwriter. • The quote status shows “REFER UND” • You will also see in “RED” that the mail notification was sent to the underwriter’s mailbox for review. The initials of the underwriter appear in the last three-digit box, in this example “KES”. • At this point you can log off the system by clicking on “Logoff Customer”. Status Shows, Refer Und, Refer to Underwriter.

  19.
