  2. Make a list…. • Of the inventory of visual work in your own mind…. • Consider: • What takes up the most space in that part of your brain? • What type of visual art and visual culture are you most aware of? • What type is less clear for you? Taking up less space? More foreign?

  3. Now create your own map or structure that illustrates the visual art/culture inventory in your mind… • It could be an actual map… • It could be boxes and lines that create a diagram • It could be an illustration • It should signify to the reader which parts of the visual inventory are biggest…which are smaller or less clear….

  4. Sketch a plan on the back of your notecard organizing your idea….you will copy it into the front jacket of your altered book as we work on those tomorrow
