Primo Installation in the Austrian Library Network -] The Austrian Library Network installed a single instance of Primo as a consortium since Autumn 2009 -] Aleph-publishing central – central data processing • Problem: • A large data redundancy • Filtering of local records from ACC01 can be done using Z300 and HOL records • RTA availability requires local system numbers in ACC01 records • Solution: • Check ACC01 record against local System via SQL*NET • Build an IDL-Field: repeatable, stores library code an local system number (e.g. ubw:012345678) • OAI-Header must contain local system number for implementation of RTA

Primo Installation in the Austrian Library Network -] In the beginning only 2 other Institution (UBI & UBW) were included -] Currently there are 12 Austrian Institutions • The Austrian Nationa Library • University of Vienna • University of Graz • Vienna University of Technology • University of Klagenfurt • University of Veterinary Medicine • University of Innsbruck • Vienna University of Economics • University of Applied Arts • Medical University of Vienna • University of Linz • University of Salzburg

Staff authorization since Primo v4 -] Two types of staff: • Institution level staff • Can manage configuration of their own institution • Can view customer level configuration • Only Code Mapping Tables which can be configured at the institution level will be displayed • Customer level staff • Can manage the configuration of all institutions as well as manage customer level configuration • Run all deploys • Configure general Search Engine configuration

Front-End-Features supported from the Austrian Library Network -] Reset-Button in the Advanced Search -] Additional Tabs: • Wikipedia • Google-Books • Ebooks on Demand -] Links in the Brief-Results-List -] Expander for Abstracts -] Export-Functions: • RIS-Export • RefWorks Plugin • BibTex Plugin

Front-End-Features supported by the OBVSG -] Configuration of the Front-End-Features in own view : • Integration of the following JavaScript-files: <script type="text/javascript" src="../javascript/custom/EXLTabAPI.01a.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="../static_htmls/ACC/obv_services_api.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="../static_htmls/[VID]/obv_services_config.js"></script> • A single Configuration-File(../static_htmls/[VID]/obv_services_config.js) • Features will be loaded with this command: addLoadEvent( fe_services.init(obv_services_config) );

Support by the Austrian Library Network -] ALN Support Ticketsystem: • All Questions or Problems come automatically into the Ticketsystem • All Primo-Members can see or search in all Tickets -] Workflow in the ALN: • Incoming from a Question or Problem • OBVSG-employee searches for a solution: • Documentation • Reports from other Tickets • SalesForce • No Solution found → Open a new case in SalesForce • Solution found → Contact the Institution
