  2. Gürsel akay Gürsel Akay is thefirstTurktoreach Erciyes Mountainwithbike. Furthermore,hewastheleader of thebiketeamwhichpassedalong Kaçkar Mountainsbybike. In 1992,He founded a socialbikingclubcalled ‘Yeşil Bisiklet’ (Green Bike) with Sena Akay and has organizedmanydifferentactivitiestomakepeoplelikethissport - biking - andsee it as a life style.He has releasedthefirst Bike magazine in Turkey.

In2000, Gürsel Akay tookplace in theTurkish Bike Team whichfinished a 520 kilometernon-stop bikeracethat is accepted as theworld’smostchallengingadventureone.Inthisrace,therewerepartslikeconeing,trekkingandbiking. In2001, At Giants of Volcano race (ınScilia) ,he becamethe 7th of Europeanteams.Thefollowingyears ,he participated in differentkinds of activitiesrelatedtobike in Turkey.

Gürkan genç He wasborn in 1979.He is a graduate of Communications faculty.Heworked as a salesrepresent in differentcompanies.Then,hefounded a companywiththreefriends but he leftthisjob.During his lastworkexperiences,hestartedusingbike as a way of transportation,remembered his bigdreamof childhood. In April 2010 ,He set offby his bikefrom Samsun withthe slogan ‘PedalsforNature’.Hefollowedtheroute of Georgia,Turkmenistan,Kyrgyzstan,Tajikistan,Uzbekistan,Mongolia,China,South Koreaandfinallyreached Japan ,his last stop.

Hısfırstworldbıketour Inhis elevenmonthbiketour ,he saw 11 countries ,950 cities ,townsandvillages.Hetook15.000 photos,had2242 videos.Hepedalledfor 12.000 kilometers.He has gonedown in history as thefirstTurktopasstheseplaces : • Central AsiaTurkishcountries • The silk road • The Kara –GumDesert in Turkmenistan • TheGobiDesert İn Mongolia

  6. Turkeyknowsabout hım …. Ina year,hehas made 100 presentation in differentplacesand has shared his experienceswith 25.000 youngpeople. He has opened 4 photographexhibition,hasmadetwoshortfilmsand sent themtothefestivals.He has alsowritten a bookabout his completedbiketour.

  7. A worldtourwıthıronhorse….. But ,his real dream is not this.He told his mum that he would travel all around the World with bike. He has started his second Project ‘Pedals for future’ in 2012 .He is planning to pedal to seven continents,84 countries,115.000 kilometers in seven years.He will pass the World’s five big deserts,the World’s highest five mountains and at the end he will reach to Everest camping site . He wants to try a route that has never been tried before and he wants to take his place in Guinnes Records Book Then,hewill turn back to Turkey.

  8. Cebrail Şeker He is a veryyoung(born in 1995 )but verysuccessfulTurkishbikeriderwhowasthechampion of theBalkans Bike Road racewhichwas in Serbia –Belgrade in 2012 10 countriesand 40 cyclersparticipatedthisrace.

  9. He wasone of theoldestandsuccessfulcyclers of Turkey .He wonmanychampionshipsandwasthecoach of famousbikeriders.Welosthim Nusret ergün
