  5. What’s JDF All About? • Not JDF – it’s about JDF-enabled products • Capturing information – preferably upstream • Automating workflows, reducing errors • Integrating production with business • Allowing best-of-breed application integration • It’s about Digital Supply Chain Management

  6. Where Do I Get It? • Vendors are offering JDF-enabled solutions • Get it in new products • Get it in upgrades to existing products • You will become JDF-enabled by attrition if you wait long enough

What Do I Do With It? • You don’t have to apply it to your whole company all at once! • Identify the different processes within your workflows • Identify which ones could benefit from: • Consistent use of data • Updates in technology • Better management & automation • Pick a process, start with one, and… • IMPLEMENT IT!
