  2. Project Overview • SUMMARY: • This project focused on providing middle managers with Lean training. This training gave the supervisors tools and techniques to be able to review current policies and procedures and tools to assist them in identifying gaps. It also allowed them to look at the entire process to see if additional policies or procedures were needed. They were able to look at the tasks/positions and document different business processes so that institutional knowledge is documented and transferable. BUDGET: • $47,241.25-fully expended • Leveraged relationships PROPOSED OUTCOMES: At least 30 procedures/positions/tasks/processes were reviewed, revised, or created.
