  1. ObjectiveSkill: I will be able to analyze thematic concepts, find non-fiction textual support and cite my sources. First Semester Project Check list • The three parts that make up the project are from the following units: • The House on Mango Street • Our Town • Twelve Angry Men • For each text, you need to have created the five elements: • Thematic Concept Analysis • Finding Three Related Articles • Discard Paragraph Analysis • Analysis of chosen articles • Works Cited Page (these will all be put together into one at the end) • Every element should be neat, proofread, revised, etc. and everything should be in the same format: • 12 point font • Times New Roman • Double Space • See additional formatting requirements in packet.

  2. First Semester Project Checklist • Create the Preface • The best prefaces will be those that can make connections among and between the units of the semester and set up your project for me. I will know exactly what I am going to read before I read it, based on your preface. • It will be detailed, specific and reference your own work. • It is an introduction to your project. • Organize your materials with a Table of Contents that lists each element in order. • Number your pages. • Put in a binder.
