  1. INTRODUCTION • Zoom is a self-drive car sharing company in India. Zoom was launched in February 2013 in Bangalore, India. • car sharing is a model of car rental where people rent cars for short periods of time, often by the hour. They are attractive to customers who make only occasional use of a vehicle, as well as others who would like occasional access to a vehicle of a different type than they use day-to-day.

  2. Zoom is the first and only company bringing the car-sharing business model to cities in India. Zoom provides convenient, affordable, and flexible vehicle access; while simultaneously taking cars off the road. The service offers a significant improvement from incumbent rental services due to Zoom's hyper-local vehicle locations, flexible pricing, and better technology (both consumer-facing and fleet management). Zoom launched in Feb 2013 with 7 cars, and has now grown to 52 vehicles.
