  11. Summary • FreeBSD 4.7 didn’t work well with some GbE cards. • Linux 2.4 works well. • Iperf 1.6.5 is not well coded. (I needed to modify) • Scripts to find the best parameters (automated). • Every 10 seconds SNMP polling (too fast?) • Long term rrdtool records (from IU) • ATM performance test by APAN Tokyo XP • Next steps: IPv6, Multicast • Other measurements: IPv4 / v6 ping, hops, routes • Available at http://mrtg.qgpop.net
