  3. So, what skills do I need? • Ability to use and analyse sources • Ability to write extended answers • Subject knowledge retention and recall • Organisation • Ability to meet deadlines

  4. Learning Goals • We all COULD try and explain why they think this caused problems for people living there • We all SHOULD be able to describe how the landscape of the USA changes • We all WILL be able to identify the main geographical features of the USA

  6. Popular Images of life in the American West Choose, cut out and stick the source you are given into your book. Underneath it describe: - What is happening in the source - What sort of source it is - What the source suggests to you about life in America

Underneath it describe: - What is happening in the source - What sort of source it is - What the source suggests to you about life in America Then write a second paragraph describing how the two images differ. Which one do you think is more accurate? Why?
