  2. UNITAT5 1. Durant la vida de l'embrió Les cèl·lules germinals patixen divisions, creixen i es transformen en oòcits. Aquests s'envolten d'altres cèl·lules, les anomenades fol·liculars, i formen el fol·licle, que no atura el desenvolupament fins a la pubertat. Les cèl·lules fol·liculars alimenten l'oòcit i produïxen estrogens, que són hormones sexuals femenines. Formació dels oòcits i dels fol·licles.Succeïx durant l'etapa del fetus Oòcits Fol·licle Fase 2. A partir de la pubertat A partir de la pubertat, aproximadament cada 28 dies. En aquesta etapa el fol·licle creix, i l'òvul que hi ha madura i ix de l'ovari; aquest procés s'anomena ovulació. Òvul Fol·licle madur Ovulació Maduració del fol·licle i de l'oòcit.
