  1. Cowlitz Timber Trails Experience One of Washington’s Most Unique Camping Areas

  2. In the foothills of the Western Cascades, located between Mt. Rainier to the North and Mt. St. Helens to the South, there is yet another area of beauty and splendor.

  3. Now Entering Cowlitz Timber Trails

  4. Smiled on by nature in its early creation, it represents an area of over 450 acres, with evergreens reaching for the sky.

  5. Deer, rabbits, squirrels and other animals wander lazily throughout the park.

  6. The Cowlitz River, on its Southern boundary, races with white water rage to make its way to the Mighty Columbia.

  7. Salmon and native steelhead can be seen in the bluish-green water as they make their way to their own destiny.

  8. In 1969 the Association was formed with the idea that would allow mankind and nature to share this beautiful environment. It was from these thoughts that CTTA was born, and these same thoughts have brought more than 500 members here today.

  9. CTTA Is For YOU! Cowlitz Timber Trails Association is a gate secured campground with a variety of memberships available. When you purchase a membership at CTTA, you have the exclusive right to use your chosen site. This means no more going from park to park to find a camp site.

  13. Rental Equipment for Table Games and Outdoor Recreation is at the Office.

  14. ATV & Bike Trails There are many ATV/Bike trails to ride on. Please be courteous and observe the ATV/Bike rules and regulations. No continuous riding through the park. All riders will take the shortest, safest route to the trails.

  15. Swimming Pool Enjoy our soft salt water swimming pool this summer. Family Swim 10:00am-9:00pm. Adults only (over 18) swim 9:00pm-10:00pm. Youth swim, 12 to 18 years, as approved. CTTA is not responsible for providing a lifeguard. Swim at your own risk. Full set of pool rules and regulations is in your CRBH, page 23 and a quick handout brochure for your reference is available in the CTTA Office. Be safe, think before you act, follow the rules, have fun and enjoy our pool facilities.

  18. Volunteer Workers Volunteer Members and their Guests have been working hard this year to spruce up the park. Cutting Junipers around the pool fence, scraping moss off the block bathroom roofs and even renting a large boom to help with tree trimming for members…

  19. Volunteer Workers Volunteer Members and their Guests have been working hard this year to spruce up the park. Shoveling fresh bark on the flower beds and entrance to our park, and painting a fresh coat of paint to our fence surrounding the gate, office and sales buildings…

  21. Free WIFI Internet Available at the Office is where you will find our WIFI connection. There is a picnic area, covered porch, table, plug-in and during office hours our enclosed WIFI study room is open. The WIFI connection does not turn off when the business office is closed and there is no password to login – enjoy.
