  3. Warranty Statements Footwear Camping Gear Limited Warranty: This Wenger Outdoor Gear is warranted to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for the life of the product. Only valid with proof of purchase. If your Wenger Outdoor Gear needs repair or replacement due to a defect in workmanship or materials, please contact your local Wenger Outdoor Gear Dealer or visit www.wenger.ch for more country specific information. Limitations on Warranty: The warranty on Wenger Outdoor Gear is limited to the warranty set forth above. Such warranty does not apply to ordinary wear and tear (ie: exhausted zippers), natural hazard damage (ie: weather, animals, ultraviolet [UV] damage on tents), or to abuse, negligence, improper repairs, alterations, modifications or if the Wenger Outdoor Gear is used other than in the manner intended. There are no other warranties that extend beyond the description on the face above. Proof of purchase is required for warranty or replacement. • Warranty: Wenger footwear is warranted to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for a period of 36 months from the date of original purchase. • If your Wenger footwear needs repair or replacement due to defect in workmanship or materials, please contact your local dealer or visit www.wenger.ch for more country-specific details. • Limitations on Warranty: The warranty on Wenger footwear is limited to the warranty set forth above.   4. Warranty Claim Example #1 “Purchasing this product was an extreme disappointment. After using these shoes for one year with light duty, only during the cold weather season, they both have punctures in the soles. This creates a very annoying loud hissing and squeaking noise. They are now unwearable. I paid $130 for these shoes, I expected them to last as long as if not longer than the pair of Timberland shoes I replaced with this model. I had the Timberlands for over 4 years. Very disappointing. I’m never buying your product again. I am also making a claim to Consumer Reports. Thank you for nothing but disappointment. “ NOTES: No receipt. No visible damage.

  5. Warranty Claim Example #2 “I bought two pairs of your shoes at Target a couple months ago for my boys. They both already have holes in them. Can I get a refund on them? I still have the receipts.” NOTE: Warranty terms state only material/workmanship defects are covered, damage caused by wear is not.
