Russia’s Federal Space Programfor 2006 - 2015 Program Status:Federal Special Program approved by the Government Decree No.635 of October 22nd, 2005 Program State Customer:Roscosmos Program Goal – satisfaction of the growing demand of the government, regions and the country’s population for the space assets and services based on: • Increasing and efficiency growth of the outer space exploration; • International space cooperation development and fulfilling Russia’s international obligations; • Strengthening and development of Russia’s space potential.

Creation of laboratories for radiation tests of electronic components and radio-electronic equipment including developing of the standards, methods, techniques and software. • carry out radiation tests toward such influences as: • gamma radiation • beams of electron • beams of protons • beams of ions • X-ray emission • laser exposure

Development of methods to increase hardness of radio-electronic equipment towards space ionizing radiation on a basis of: • Local shielding • Programmed control of reserve • Failure proved coding • Prevention of catastrophic extension of SEE • Majorization

Development of specialized software allowing to make: • Calculation of local conditions inside spacecraft • Calculation of test requirements for electronic components and radio-electronic equipment • Interpretation of test results •  4. Specification and updating of space environment models: • Development of software to forecast an influence of ionizing radiation • Development of standards

Development and operation of a spacecraft monitoring system on influence of space ionizing radiation towards a radio-electronic equipment of a spacecraft: • - onboard registration of TID effects with use of: • “Nitride-metal-dielectric” semi-conductor sensor • diamond detectors • - Onboard registration of SEE with use of: • Sensor in the in the form of the static RAM with controlled threshold • diamond sensors.

Development and operation of space radiation related information system: • Creation of database on radiation proved electronic components • Publication of articles, printing of journals and holding of conferences • Visualization of space weather monitoring system • 7. Working out, manufacturing and tests of electronic components for space applications.

Areas of possible collaboration • Joint creation of electronic components for space applications • Harmonization of standard documentation • Interchange of information and databases on radio-electronic hardness of components towards space ionizing radiation • Organization of interaction between space ionizing radiation monitoring systems
