  2. We care about our animals, and try to make them as healthy as possible. We discourage acts of animal abuse by having shelters, and encouraging healthy animal care.

  3. How We Help • STAR of rowan county is an organization to give dogs homes, who would other wise go under euthanasia (being put to sleep).

  4. With 4 vet clinics in Rowan county, it makes it easier to have your animals taken care of.

  5. Before the Rowan County flood (2010) got too severe, many animals were found and brought to the shelter.

  6. “Stray animals may have a new place to live soon. Members of the Rowan County Fiscal Court signed an agreement with Bath and Fleming counties for a new animal shelter ordinance during a recent special fiscal court meeting.” Vanessa Overholser, The Morehead News

  7. With a new shelter, it goes to show how much Rowan County cares about each animal who doesn’t have a decent home.

  8. Since there are Ag. Programs in the High School and at the local university, the people of Rowan County can be educated the best way to take care of animals.

  9. We also take care of them at our homes • We care about our animals, and how do we show it?

  10. By simply giving them the essentials and love 

  11. Not Limited To Small Animals
