  5. Community Service Project Got a dog? Is your dog sweet? Does it like people? Has it ever bitten anyone? Can it get along with other dogs? If your dog likes people, has never bitten anyone, and gets along with others, we can work on having it trained to be a therapy dog! 

  10. Officers • Chaplain • Responsible for the spiritual emphasis of the Club...Plans devotional for meetings...Assists President in setting a meaningful atmosphere for meetings...Chairman of Installation/Induction Service Committee.

Officers President Prepares, with the Executive Committee, a detailed agenda for meetings...Presides over Club meetings and Executive Committee meetings...Knows the duties, plus helps and encourages other Officers...Keeps the Club informed of State YMCA news and events... Appoints members to committees.

  12. Officers Vice President - Program Plans good programs (videos, speakers, skits, etc.) for meetings...Hosts visitors at meetings...Makes meeting arrangements...Presides in the absence of the President...Chairman of the Program Committee.

  13. Officers Vice President - Membership Plans membership drives...Works with Publicity Chairman to keep members informed...Keeps Club member point system...Helps keep members involved...Recognizes and reinforces active members...Chairman of Membership Committee.

  14. Officers Secretary Keeps Club roll and minutes of meetings...submit monthly report online...Carries on Club correspondence ("thank you" to speakers, etc.)...Maintains a complete list of members' addresses and phone numbers...Chairman of the Records Committee.

Officers Treasurer Prepares budget at beginning of year...Sees that Club pays Advisor's expenses to conferences...Keeps record of finances and makes reports...Makes sure all dues are collected and turned in by the deadline...Takes responsibility for planning Club fund-raising projects...Co-Chairman of the Finance Committee.

  16. Officers School and Community Projects Chairmen Plan at least one monthly school and community project...Keep members aware of project details...Work to involve all members in at least one project per month...Report on success of projects...Co-Chairmen of the Projects Committee.

Officers Publicity Chairman Responsible for a monthly Club bulletin board...Provides news releases and pictures about activities to media...Publicize Club activities in the school...Makes posters and other publicity materials for Club activities...Prepares a Club Newsletter or submit articles to school newspaper...Sees that a Club scrapbook is maintained...Chairman of the Publicity Committee.

  18. Officers World Service/Home Extension Chairman Sees that Club makes a World Service/Home Extension pledge...Interprets to Club what World Service/Home Extension is...Sees that Club pays its pledge at the appropriate time...Co-Chairman of the Finance Committee.
