  1. WG EDI Work in Progress on theENTSO-E Business processesLast updated: 2012-09-21 Note: The information provided in this document identifies the evolutions that ENTSO-E WG EDI is developing in respect to existing or new business processes. ENTSO-E WG EDI provides this information to inform the user community of ongoing evolutions. The information however cannot be considered final until it has been approved for official publication.

  2. Contents • Clarification of ERRP Activation Time Intervals • Processes under review – Name changes • Processes under review – Document Header • ECAN Allocation Result Document • ERRP Planned Resource Schedule Document • ECAN Capacity Document Schema evolution • ESS Schedule document dependency table evolution

  3. Clarification of ERRP Activation Time Intervals • The diagram (Figure 17 of the ERRP document) provides a schema of a typical activation for a constant power value of an additional 50 megawatts that is required between 08:12:00 and 08:50:00 on a given day. • It must be stressed that the ERRP activation process currently operates only with blocks of energy and does not take into consideration any ramping values. • Consequently in order to express the activation of 50 megawatts on the 1st of January from 08:12 UTC through to 08:50 UTC (inclusive/exclusive) the following TimeInterval expression shall be used: • <TimeInterval v=”2011-01-01T08:12/2011-01-01T08:50”/>

  4. Processes under review – Name changes Core Component and Electronic Document name changes ETSO has historically made the decision to no longer use the term “Message” in both the Core Components and in all Electronic Documents. This will mean that the following elements will have to be changed when an opportunity permits the change with no overall impact to running systems: • MessageDateTime to be evolved to DateTime; • MessageType to be evolved to DocumentType; • MessageTypeList to be evolved to DocumentTypeList; • ScheduleMessage to be evolved to Scheduledocument; • MessageIdentification to be evolved to DocumentIdentification; • MessageDateTime attribute to be evolved to CreationDateTime;

  5. Processes under review Document Header Document headers • Warning Notice: ENTSO-E will be reviewing all electronic document headers in order to ensure their harmonisation throughout the ENTSO-E business processes.

  6. ECAN Allocation Result Document • There is an error in the Allocation Result Document Information model in ECAN version 4 that indicates a Reason Text as mandatory. This in fact should be optional and has been corrected in ECAN version 5.

  7. ERRP Planned Resource Schedule Document • WG-EDI has approved the addition of a Reason class at the Interval level of the ERRP Planned Resource Schedule Document. This modification will be reflected in the next edition of the ERRP Implementation Guide. • You can download an advance draft of the XML Schema from the following URL: http://www.entsoe.eu/fileadmin/user_upload/edi/library/downloads/PlannedResourceschedule-2011-05-23.xsd

  8. ECAN CAPACITY DOCUMENT SCHEMA • The ECAN 5 description in the implementation guide and its XML schema description are consistent. However, an error was found in the XML schema itself and has been corrected on the website. • An evolution to the Capacity Document has subsequently been made to incorporate the possibility of identifying specific connecting lines between areas. The change will formally be integrated into the next release of the ECAN implementation guide. However, an XSD version has been made available on the WIP environment for proof of concept testing.

  9. ESS – SCHEDULE DOCUMENTdependency table evolution • At the next revision the ESS, the Schedule Document dependency table will be evolving to enable the possibility when an Agreement Identification is provided to also provide in the attribute Metering Point a specific Accounting Point identification that is being nominated.
