  2. Documento 9332-AN/909 Manual sobre el Sistema de Notificación de la OACI De los Choques con Aves ( IBIS ) “Notificación de Choques con Aves, Tarea permanente de Prevención”

TENIENDO EN CUENTA QUE NO TODOS LOS ESTADOS HAN CONTRIBUIDO CON EL SISTEMA DE NOTIFICACIÓN (OACI) DE CHOQUES CON AVES (IBIS), LO CUAL HA SIDO ANALIZADO Y DISCUTIDO EN VARIAS REUNIONES DE LA OACI, DONDE SE HA PROPUESTO ADOPTAR LA ENMIENDA 5 DEL ANEXO 14 DEL CONVENIO SOBRE AVIACIÓN CIVIL INTERNACIONAL, QUE LUEGO DE SU APROBACIÓN, SEA APLICADA A PARTIR DEL 27 DE NOVIEMBRE DEL 2003, ELEVANDO A CATEGORÍA DE NORMA EL “ESTABLECIMIENTO DE UN PROCEDIMIENTO NACIONAL PARA REGISTRAR Y NOTIFICAR LOS CHOQUES DE AVES CON AERONAVES”.

  4. EL SIGUIENTE TRABAJO RESUME LA PARTICIPACIÓN DE LOS ESTADOS/TERRITORIOS DE LA REGIÓN CAR/SAM EN EL SISTEMA DE NOTIFICACIÓN IBIS, TOMANDO COMO BASE LOS DATOS RECOPILADOS DE LOS ANALISIS DE LA OACI CORRESPONDIENTE A LOS AÑOS 1988– 2000 (13 AÑOS).

DEL ANALISIS ANTERIOR SE OBSERVA QUE LOS ESTADOS/TERRITORIOS DE LA REGIÓN CAR/SAM, HAN MANTENIDO UNA PARTICIPACÓN ACTIVA EN EL SISTEMA DE NOTIFICACIÓN DE CHOQUES CON AVES IBIS, EN LOS QUE SE DESTACAN BRASIL, MEXICO, ARGENTINA, CUBA, TRINIDAD Y TOBAGO, PANAMÁ, PUERTO RICO SIN DEJAR DE MENCIONAR LOS QUE COMO BARBADOS Y BERMUDAS SE HAN INCORPORADO EN LOS ÚLTIMOS DOS AÑOS. LOS EXHORTAMOS A TODOS A CONTINUAR PARTICIPANDO EN ESTA IMPORTANTE TAREA, YA QUE ES UNA MANERA DE CONTRIBUIR A LA PREVENCIÓN O MITIGACIÓN DEL PELIGRO AVIARIO EN NUESTROS AEROPUERTOS.
