  3. The Case for High School Activities… “The NFHS and its membership believe that interscholastic sports and fine arts activities promote citizenship and sportsmanship. They instill a sense of pride in community, teach lifelong lessons of teamwork and self-discipline and facilitate the physical and emotional development of our nation’s youth.”

  6. 7,536,753= Over 50% enrolled in HS, participate in athletics! Over 3.1 million girls & 4.4 million boys participated. For the 20th consecutive year… participation in high school activities increased What is the purpose of HS activities? EDUCATION!
