Data taken on 08.09.2012[1] • As can be observed in the Figures 10, 11 and 12, the River Width stayed the same throughout the course of the investigation, whereas all the other variables were affected due to forces impacted upon by the tourist flow associated with these time periods. The river width is a factor that is influenced at an extremely slow rate by the erosive effects of varying speeds of water flow. Therefore, the river width does not act as an indicator as to the degree of pollution created by tourist flow. The temperature of the rivers did not vary too much because of the thermal properties of water.
