Log House Fire Started on August 29 at 1600 hrs Started by a Straw Truck Fire Final Size 120 Acres State Route 155 was diverted for 10 hrs One unoccupied home and two outbuildings were lost Fire burned to back door of another house Main Colville Tribal Agency Communications site was threatened

South Omak Lake Fire Started on August 30 at 1440 hrs Unknown Cause for Fire Final Size 10,500 Acres All forces were pulled from the Log House Fire to respond One of the main routes across the Reservation was closed for several days One home was protected in a last minute defense at the start of the fire A summer cabin at Omak Lake was protected by air resources

  14. Purchase of Mobile Command Vehicle • Emergency Management Purchased a Mobile Command on September 7 • Provides on support for extended incidents

Manila Creek Fire Started on September 10 at 1130 hrs Fire was ruled as an Arson Start Final Size 26,805 Acres On September 11, the fire lost all of its air resources due to a new start, allowing the fire to grow considerably in size SR 21, One of the main routes across the Reservation was closed for several days On September 12 Mount Tolman Fire Center was evacuated due to the approach of the fire Several Civilian Structures were asked to evacuate as well

  18. Manila Creek Fire Not long after the blow up, the Mount Tolman Fire Center Compound was evacuated This required the activation of the new mobile command post to function as a dispatch center for Fire Management Mount Tolman was evacuated for 8 days
