  2. 1. Camp is here for you! • Western Buckeye Christian Service Camp is a Christian organization that provides facilities and resources for individuals, families, and organizations. Goal: For Christian Camp to complement, your church’s programming.

  3. 2. Camp Exists Only with Financial Support WBCSC is a non-profit organization, so to keep the camp going, we rely on donations from supporters like you!

  4. 3. Camp is Completely Dependent Upon Volunteers. Trustees Volunteer Work Days Camp Deans Faculty/Counselors Kitchen Helpers Office Helpers Camp Committee

  5. 4. Christian Service is a Way of Getting Kids Prepared for Their Own Ministry. “Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus...take the very nature of a servant…he humbled Himself…” Phil. 2

  6. 5. There are all kinds of recreational activities for you to enjoy! Playground Zip Line Rock Wall Merry-Go-Round Swimming Pool Kickball Basketball Fishing Volleyball Carpet Ball Camp Fire Paddle Boats Octo-ball Tetherball All Kinds of Recreational Equipment

  7. 6. WBCSC is here for people of all ages!

  8. 7. The Camp is Open Year-Round • WBCSC is not just open for the summer season for camps. • The camp is available year-round for retreats and winter camps.

  9. 8. WBCSC is continuing to evolve into a camp for the future. New Programming Long Range Planning Winterizing the Dorms Upkeep of Facilities

  10. 9. Camp provides an “emphasis” upon spiritual growth not duplicated by any other method. The Values of Christian Camping Retreat Outdoor Setting Extended Period of Time Christian Atmosphere

  11. 10. Reaching Young People is Our Highest Priority Mathew 19:14 Jesus said, ”Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

  12. What’s next? 1. Encourage your church kids to attend camp! 2. Help the camp make your church aware of the camps ministry. 3. Encourage your church’s financial support. 4. Encourage your church staff/leaders/members to volunteer their services at W.B.C.S.C.. 5. Understand yourself and encourage others to understand, that W.B.C.S.C. is not a separate mission organization, but an extension of your local church’s evangelism/education program. 6. Pray regularly for the ministry at W.B.C.S.C.!!
