  11. European Energy Efficient building district Database

  12. PROJECT GOAL ExcEED has the overall objective to create a European self-sustainable and dynamic database for measured and qualitative data on beyond the state of the art buildings. The advanced tools and KPIs associated to the database will allow the analysis of actual energy performance and environmental quality at the level of single building, geo-cluster of buildings, and European new or renovated building stock. The analysis will result in knowledge to inform single building managers, designers, and European policy makers.

KPIs DATABASE • Assist the decision making process during the design phase. • Be usable by different actors: policy makers, professional designers, building energy managers, and building owner. • Allow database users to compare and contrast different options. • Be measurable and technically valid (quantitative criteria or qualitative converted to quantitative). • Be easy to use and visualise with clear charts. • Be flexible, multipurpose and generic in nature, and usable on different building typologies; http://kpidb.eurac.edu/
