  2. ISO Setting - Controls the sensitivityof the sensor ISO Sensitivity -Lower number for brighter situations (100, 200iso) -Use a higher number for darker situations (400, 800, 1600iso) Higher number = more sensitivity = grain and noise in digital files

  3. Higher the number, more grain and artifacts ISO Sensitivity

Aperture – controls the amount of light coming thru the lens • Little opening, “Big Honking Hole”! • Designated in “f-stops” f2.8, f4.0, f5.6, f8, f11, 16, f22 • -Smaller opening for brighter situations • (f8, f11, f16, f22) • -Wider opening for darker situations • (f2.8, f4. f5.6) Aperture orf-stops

  7. Shutter Speedscontrols how fast the shutter opens and closes Designated by shutter speed dial or menu; 60th, 125th, 250th, 500th -Faster shutter speed freezes action (500th, 1000th, 2000th, etc) -Slower shutter speed for highlighting motion (30th, 60th, etc)
