Safety & Security Public and administrative buildings The systems cover all range of applications from small systems (apartments, offices, and agencies) to office buildings, banks headquarters, insurance companies and administration. The essential advantage against the competition is the company’s approach based on integration of all the systems in to Building Management System. To this, SIS can add the promotion of new technologies based on analogical detectors, wireless communications and perimeter area security systems.

  14. Safety & Security Industrial installations Given the competition, SIS offers not only the conception and the integrated delivery of the safety & security systems correlated and interconnected with the automation system, but also consulting services, on sight tests and measures, the integration of new equipment in an already done system. SIS offers also quasi-unique solutions for CCTV and intercoms for environment with high risk of explosion, etc.

  15. Real Time Informational Systems Based on the Smart Card and RFID technology, SIS promotes a series of the latest systems like GMS (Gasoline Management System), Loading Management System, access control, etc. SIS is the promoter of Managerial Integrated Systems: • Information management • Management strategies • Inventory/product tracking • Manufacturing execution • Material and capacity planning and optimisation strategies • Automated materials handling and accounting • Marketing strategies

  16. Arguments Against The Competition Being, from the establishment of the company, the carrier of the Romanian school of automation and process software tradition, SIS has taken upon itself the role of the pioneer in this field, achieving almost every year national premiers. Over 30 years experience and the professionalism of the basic team, which is the main force in some fields, contribute to the position of a national leader. The covering of the main categories of activity, specific for an integrator in this field: design, engineering and consulting for process control & instrumentation systems, research &development of new products, software implementation and engineering, installation, commissioning, erection and service not only for automation systems but for security and safety ones make of SIS an almost unique leader.

  17. Arguments Against The Competition SIS is already ready to make projects based on the last technologic achievements in the field. From the beginning, SIS has shown itself interested in the developments of PC 104 Consortium, Fieldbus Foundation, Device Net, MODBUS, LONWORKS but also in the smart card, ultrasounds, infrared, microwaves technologies, being able to make projects accordingly. SIS has agreements to be an engineering partner or integrator for world leaders like ABB, EMERSON, Wonderware, Siemens, Allen Bradley, Yokogawa. SIS is a founder member of ANIS (the Romanian National Association of Software Companies), member of ARIES (Romanian Association for Electronics and Software) and the organisational support for SISP (Process Software Engineering Society).

  18. Quality Assurance Policy The objective of the Management of SIS is to provide its products in a manner that conforms to the specified requirements of the Company, its customers and all applicable regulatory authorities. In order to achieve these objectives, it is the policy of SIS to establish and maintain an effective and efficient quality management system, planned and developed in conjunction with other management functions and ISO 9001 certified. This assists in the reduction of the potential effects of product liability as it ensures that all relevant safety standards are identified. Quality affected activities are suitably controlled and identified and appropriate user warnings and instructions issued. The determination of conformity of work to contractual and regulatory requirements is made on the basis of the objective evidence.
