  2. By John 12:37 three years of miraculous evidence has been publicly presented. Although many followed, many of these seemed to continually wrestle with faith.

  3. John 12:39-40 For this reason they could not believe, for Isaiah said again, 40“He has blinded their eyes and He hardened their heart, so that they would not see with their eyes and perceive with their heart, and be converted and I heal them.” Unbelieving are blind, hard hearted, impenitent

  4. John 12:42-43 Nevertheless many even of the rulers believed in Him, but because of the Pharisees they were not confessing Him, for fear that they would be put out of the synagogue; 43for they loved the approval of men rather than the approval of God. Many others believed were not confessing

  5. Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

  7. 2 Corinthians 3:14-16 But their minds were hardened; for until this very day at the reading of the old covenant the same veil remains unlifted, because it is removed in Christ. 15But to this day whenever Moses is read, a veil lies over their heart; 16but whenever a person turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.

  15. 2 Thessalonians 1:6-8 For after all it is only just for God to repay with affliction those who afflict you, 7and to give relief to you who are afflicted and to us as well when the Lord Jesus will be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels in flaming fire, 8dealing out retribution to those who do not know God and to those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. The reason doesn't matter, the penalty is the same.

FAMILY PRESSURE ??

  18. 1 Peter 4:4 In all this, they are surprised that you do not run with them into the same excesses of dissipation, and they malign you; FRIENDS WON'T UNDERSTAND ??

John 15:18-20 If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it hated you. 19“If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world…the world hates you. 20“Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A slave is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you… CAN'T STAND THE WORLDS HATRED ??

  20. 1 Corinthians 1:26-28 For consider your calling, brethren, that there were not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble; 27but God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong, 28and the base things of the world and the despised God has chosen, the things that are not, so that He may nullify the things that are, EARTHLY POSITION ??

  21. Hebrews 2:1-3a Therefore we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, lest we drift away from it. For since the message declared by angels proved to be reliable, and every transgression or disobedience received a just retribution, how shall we escape if we neglect such a great salvation? It was declared at first by the Lord, and it was attested to us by those who heard, Reasons won’t matter, penelty will be the same

  22. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE? Both believers and unbelievers are... Disobedient Rejecting the Lord Serving self Unreceptive to the word In sin Lost Both will be judged on the last day

  23. 1 Peter 4:17-18 For it is time for judgment to begin with the household of God; and if itbegins with us first, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God? 18And if it is with difficulty that the righteous is saved, what will become of the godless man and the sinner?

  24. 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9 …dealing out retribution to those who do not know God and to those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. 9These will pay the penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,

  25. There are none so blind as those who will not see.

  26. John 12:48 He who rejects Me and does not receive My sayings, has one who judges him; the word I spoke is what will judge him at the last day. I cannot afford comfortable distinctions...
