  8. Ella’s Personal Statement I was inspired to watch Kate's videos on YouTube during a choreography course in middle school. From the start, I loved the musicality and pedestrian-like movements displayed in her dances. The dancers too, were able to display Kate’s flowing, yet sharp movements, and moreover, they stayed in sync with one another throughout the entirety of the piece. I quickly grew to love Kate’s choreography and look forward to her new works.

  9. Andrea’s Personal statement After watching a few of Kate’s videos, I fell in love with her pieces. Her movement was strong, yet elegant, which made me want to watch more of her choreography. I love the simple movement she tends to use and the song choices. Her dancers are amazing and make her ideas come to life.
