California Junior Scholarship Federation The California Junior Scholarship Federation (CJSF) emphasizes high standards of scholarship and community service for California junior high school students. Founded in 1967, the California Junior Scholarship Federation is part of CSF, the oldest scholarship institution in the state of California.

  3. What we did for you: • Mrs. Deol pulled all the grades for all of the 7th and 8th graders at this school. • Mrs. Wyant has sorted and contacted you and is having a meeting. • Mrs. Wyant is putting you on a plan to take care of it yourself at the end of the 2nd semester.

  4. Your Responsibility • Get good grades • Fill out the top half of the hand out so I can find you at the end of the 2nd semester and return it to you. • Have all of your teachers fill out your letter grade by 3:00 pm on Wednesday, May 30, 2010 • .

  5. What are the qualifications? • You need 12 points on your semester report card • A’s = 3 • B’s = 2 • C’s = 0 • D’s and F’s disqualify you to be in the club

  6. I understand that this is a club and membership is based on my participation and fulfilling the requirements set up by California Junior Scholarship Federation . • To be recognized as a member with a gold seal on my promotion certificate I must participate three out four semesters. • To be recognized as an honorary member receiving a gold seal on my promotion certificate and a gold braid at eighth grade promotion, I must be a member four out of four semesters.   7. Why should I be a member? • Scholarship help • Your Diploma and Records are noted. • It looks good on college applications • Graduate/ Promoted before your peers • High school CSF members get a sash and graduate first.
