  2. BIDS System Overview • System used to disseminate BAA related information. • Repository for the BAA package. • Streamlines submission process. • Tracks your submissions. • Encrypts all data. • For UNCLASSIFIED submissions only!

  3. Accessing BIDS • If you already have an account, there is no need to re-register! • To reset a password from the Homepage: • Click link below “Forgot your Password?”. • New users, click the “Register here” link. • You can submit immediately after registering.

  4. Registration is Easy • After clicking “Register here”, select a “Submitter” registration. • Fill in the required fields. • Avoid using personal emails.

  5. Submitter Homepage • “Dashboard” layout makes it easier to start a new submission and check old submissions. • Helpful links are on the left. • Click on “Submit to a BAA” to start the process.

  6. Selecting a Requirement • BIDS will display all the open BAAs. • Select a BAA to see its requirements. • Click on the requirement you want. • You may submit to more than one requirement.

  7. Submission Form • Review Intellectual Property Rights and Human Subject Testing statements carefully. • Check file sizes before uploading. • Must upload your Chart and click “Submit for Processing” button before the BAA closes.

  8. Checking on Your Submissions • Do not wait for emails;check every week. • Log in and click “Check my Current Proposals”. • Failure to get the automated email is not grounds for an extension. • Sign up for the RSS Feed.

  9. System Help • Check Reference Documents to review templates. • Check “Online Help” and “FAQs” if you get stuck. • Check “BAA Questions” if you are confused about a requirement. • Send a “Help Request” if needed.

  10. Conclusion BAA or Requirement Questions: Click “Online Help” and then the “BAA Questions” tab. Click the link there to post a new question. BIDS Application Questions: BIDSHelp@cttso.gov Or find us outside after the briefings!
