U.S. Job Growth from International Student Spending • Approximately 313,000 jobs supported or created. • For every 7 international students enrolled, 3 U.S. jobs created. • Sectors with job growth: • Higher education • Accommodation • Dining • Retail • Transportation • Telecommunications • Health Insurance

  4. Undergraduate Enrollment Growth 2013 • Approximately a 13% growth from 2012 • 7% growth from China • Largest increase in enrollment: • Iraq up 55% • Saudi Arabia up 25% • Brazil up 17% • Vietnam up 14%

  10. International Student Recruitment • Education and training is our country’s 5th largest services export, bringing over $22 billion in annual revenue to the United States. The U.S. Commerical Service (USCS), a division of the U.S. Department of Commerce (USDOC), works with U.S. educational institutions interested in enhancing their international marketing efforts.
