  3. Strengths 1. Nokia has many loyal customers.It’s brand is well known to the world.And the market is worldwide. In the customers’mind ,Nokia is reliable. 2.Nokia has a series of standard services, such as an hour of repair, spare parts, battery charging, borrow free telephone directory backup, transfer and feedback etc. 3.perfect quality control and examine Every series of Nokia product must pass the reliable laboratory test before selling in the market, including drop test, electromagnetic compatibility, fatigue test and so on.so it quality is sure. 4.on the base of it’s product ranges from high level to low level, so it’s customers are roominess. The customers can varied choose.

  4. Weaknesses 1. The demand of Nokia's Symbian system of smart phone hasgradually subsided. 2. The system is not so intelligent that people love Apple and Android more than Symbian. 3. The functions of Nokia mobile phone are fewer than less available than other sell well brand. 4. The design of Nokia mobile phone is not fashionable, attractable and user-friendly so many people are not satisfied about it. 5. In order to meet the needs of different customers, Nokia has developed an unusual amount of products, up to more than 1000 models, which lead to a large amount of cost but not distinct position.

  5. Opportunities 1. Nokia has a high market share in China. 2. Nokia has a good reputation and customer loyalty in end mobile phone markets. 3. Government supports the development of high-tech industries. 4. The youth update the phone fast and Like new and unique products.

  6. Threats 1. The Android system and IOS system occupied most of the market share. 2. The market share of main competitors (such as Samsung, HTC, Motorola and Apple) increase rapidly in China. 3. Some Chinese brands having government support to some extent are catching more and more people’s attention. (e.g. Huawei and ZTE) 4.Microsoft give the first-issue-right(首发权) of the WP8 mobile to Samsung. 5. Microsoft didn’t want to cooperate with Nokia and began to research the WP8 mobile phone independently.
