  4. Reading Comprehension We corrected #3 from the last assignment. Cell phones are more dangerous than slot machines because they are always near (we have to go somewhere to play the slots), and they are necessary for everyday living (we can’t really get rid of our phones).

  5. Last Exit Pass Results from the last exit pass were not successful. We made comments on your responses, but giving grades would have been depressing for us and for you. These are formative exercises, so we will use them to adjust the teaching, which should improve the learning.

  6. Re-focus We’re going to give the “Cell Phone Skeleton” activity another try. The prompts on the screens are different.
