CS-Ops overview • 4 main projects: DDM, Misc, PanDA, Build • 110 Services (282 machines, 171 slc5) • Cs-Ops, manpower occupancy:              support migration other I.Smirnov    30%       20%     50%   S.Baranov    30%      70%       - • Service Support is a constant activity (needed for all the services) • Service migration: • PanDA is in good shape (foreseen end by end of April) • Build is under control (foreseen end by end of May) • DDM is under DDM group responsibility • ATLAS Misc is in bad shape.

  3. Miscellaneous Central Services • ATLAS Misc part have a lot of services ~60 for migration. We observed that 60% of Misc services responsibles not interested at all in the migration (no reply to many emails!). • Service resposibles left ATLAS ? We don’t know • ATLAS will have problems with the migration ~50 services.

  4. ATLAS Central Services wishes • The migration of Misc services has to be started right now, but ATLAS Central Services doesn't have enough time for this activity in the next months in 2014. • We can't guarantee migration to AI ATLAS services this year. • We think that for the reliable migration to AI infrastructure we need additional 1 FTE in 2014. The Cs-ops temporary visitors (1-2 months) can help, but this doesn't resolve (can't close) the issue. • Misc services responsibles not helping in migration: • We would like to agree with the management on defining a deadlinefor Service Responsibles (or deputy) which don't answer to our critical request. Deadline means that if we need to, we can scratch the service • We are investigating the possibility to backup the machine data (but not the service)
