  3. Three Questions on N.T. prophecy: • Are O.T. prophet and N.T. prophet equal? • Ans. NO! Apostle is the counterpart of O.T. prophet.

Does prophecy challenge the written word, gift of teaching, or authority of the pastor? • v.31 Many participated in this prophecy. • v.29 This prophecy required evaluation. • v.30 This prophecy seems to be spontaneous. Ans. NO! This gift of prophecy can edify but does not share the authority of the scriptures or the office of pastor.
