  7. The 7th Vision of Revelation: Chapters 20-22 The Judgment of the Dragon & the Rise of the City of God

  8. And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key to the Abyss and holding in his hand a great chain. He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. He threw him into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time. Revelation 20:1-3 (NIV)

  9. The Dragon has been stripped of its power to use Rome to wage war against God’s people.

  10. I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony for Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his image and had not received his mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. Revelation 20:4 (NIV)

  11. The People of God are totally victorious over the Dragon and his servants.

  12. When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth--Gog and Magog--to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore. Revelation 20:7-8 (NIV)

  13. They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of God's people, the city he loves. But fire came down from heaven and devoured them. And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever. Revelation 20:9-10 (NIV)

  14. Any future force the Dragon may raise is doomed to failure and destruction

  15. The Final Word: Judgment is complete! All who set themselves against God and his people are doomed to destruction!

  16. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. Revelation 21:2 (NIV)

  17. In the last vision we saw: A woman: the great harlot that was the city of Rome. In this vision we see: A woman: the Bride of Christ which is the city of God

  18. Revelation: No matter what Satan tries to do to us; no matter who he empowers to do it, he will fail and we will reign victorious in this life and in eternity to come!

  19. "Behold, I am coming soon! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy in this book." Revelation 22:7 (NIV)
