  1. First GradeNewsletter February 3rdto 7th What Are We learning? Letter to Parents Dear Parents, Thank you to all of you who helped orchestrateand came out to Fairytale Ball! It was a great success. Monday, February 10th is the 101st day of school. We will be celebrating that day in our first grade classes. As part of that celebration, we will dress like Dalmatians! There is no need to go and purchase a Dalmatian costume. Something as simple as a t shirt with black spots is great! Our Valentine’s party is at 1:45 on Valentine’s. We hope that many of you can come celebrate with us! -The First Grade Teachers Reading: Asking Questions Writing: Revision Skills Block: Contractions Math: Finding Combinations Science: Seasons Reminders Please continue to read each night with your child. Log those books that you read on your Speed to Read log and the log kept in your child’s folder. Important Dates Feb. 10th: 101st Day Celebration Feb. 14: Valentine’s party at 1:45
