Name: Megan Stevens Today’s Date: 11/05/12 My Grade: 7 Example Academic & Career Plan • My High School Classes • My Interests & Talents I need to take agriculture and technology classes like Basic Technical Design, Manufacturing, Ag Production (wood working). Math classes are important: including Algebra and Geometry. I want to apply to VVTC to take Cabinet Making or Carpentry Watching Ultimate Fighting, wood working, following instructions to build things, model airplanes, FFA, Agriscience and Technology classes. • My College and/or • Career Choices • My Personal Reflection If I want a job in Cabinet or Carpentry I need to consider some courses at VVTC. After I graduate high school there are lots of community and technical colleges I can attend for further training. Today I explored Manufacturing jobs on VA View and I’m really interested in the career of Carpentry or Cabinet Making. I like to help my Grandpa build things in his workshop. I have to start working on improving my Math skills. I want to learn more about the programs offered at VVTC .
