Coupler Interlock Procedure: NEG/NEXTorr: Has a relay output that will switch if there is an error/high vacuum level >10-5mbar. We can connect all in series into one interlock port of the PXI. Vacuum Gauge/Gamma Vacuum: Also has relay output so we will repeat the same method into a second interlock port of PXI. BUT we will also read the vacuum level using a serial connection for interlock level >10-7mbar. Load Load Dir. Coupler NEG NEG+ Gauge Klystron

  4. Connections • Klystron to PXI • 2x BNC (Trigger and Modulator enable) • TWT to PXI • 1x BNC for trigger • 1x Good RF cable for RF input • Vacuum Rack to PXI • 2x BNC for relay interlocks (NEXTorr and Gamma Vacuum) • 1x Serial Connection for Gamma Vacuum.(Only need one cable can connect the controllers together.) • 3x RF Vacuum valves open/close status/control?? • RTD (Temperature) Probes to rack with JUMO controllers (can go either in vacuum rack or PXI rack). • 7x 4-wire RTD cables. We only have enough controllers (2 channels each) for 6 channels so we should buy another. • JUMO controllers to PXI • 1x Serial Connection (only need one cable can connect the controllers together.) • 1x BNC for interlock • Water regulators to PXI • 4x Serial connection for EACH cooler (PC x2, structure/load) • RF signals to Log detector and/or mixing crate-Probably still some discussion do here in terms of which channels to use but we have so far.. • 7x Good RF cables for: PKR, PKI, PSR, PSI, PEI0, PER1, PER2. (Red indicates VIP channel in terms of good calibration) NOTE: some channels are doubled up on log detectors and 400MHz mix down, will need to split at the rack. • USB Power Meters attached directly to the couplers for always on calibration: for connection to computer. • 4x IN KLY, PKI, PLI, PLR. All other channels can be inferred by assuming static losses in the high level waveguide network. • Possible issue with radiation/discharge damage?? • Faraday Cups to PXI Rack: • 2x BNC • Optional flow and temperature monitors/controllers on the pulse compressor and structure for calorimetric readings? • 6x SMC flow switches with built in temp sensors to the PXI. • http://www.smcpneumatics.ie/media/pf3w.pdf
