  3. The Three C’s Judge Hatchet’s message was on the 3 C’s • Concern • Considerate • Cheer • You have to be Concerned for your children, Consistent with them, and Cheer them on.

  4. CONCERN • Write a letter to all of your child(ren) teachers. Dear Ms. Teacher, I am John Doe, John Doe, Jr.’s father. I would like for you to know that I am very interested in my child’s education. Please contact me anytime. I can be reached at 404-600-0000. Thank you, John Doe

  5. CONCERN cont. • Listen to Your Children • Ask questions • Ask Your Children how their day was • Make their business Your business

  6. CONSISTENT Say what you mean and mean what you say. No means No. No is a sentence. NO.

  7. CHEER Encourage Your Children Ask them what are their Dreams In big, bold letters have your child write what their dream is on a large poster. Then, place the poster on the ceiling over the child’s bed so it is the First thing the child sees when they wake up. Go to www.parentpowernow.com for great ideas on making a Dream poster.
