  1. Deeper than basic friendship; and altogether different than the male to female relationship, men need other men in their lives. There is significant Biblical precedence for the value - even necessity - of this relationship.

  2. 1 Samuel 18:1 – When David had finished speaking to Saul, the soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own life. 2 Samuel 1:26 – I grieve for you, Jonathan my brother; you were very dear to me.

  3. Acts 13:2 – While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” Mark 6:7 – Calling the twelve to him, he began to send them out two by two and gave them authority over impure spirits.

  4. Our best example of course, would be Jesus himself. - He taught the large crowds... - He had a small group of twelve... - He invested in an inner circle of three... - But Peter was his wingman.

  5. Exodus 3:9-10 – And now the cry of the Israelites has reached me, and I have seen the way the Egyptians are oppressing them. So now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt.”

I know he can speak well. He is already on his way to meet you, and he will be glad to see you. You shall speak to him and put words in his mouth; I will help

  8. both of you speak and teach you what to do. He will speak to the people for you, and it will be as if he were your mouth and as if you were God to him.

  9. 1. FULL DISCLOSURE Exodus 4:28 – Then Moses told Aaron everything the LORD had sent him to say, and also about all the signs he had commanded him to perform.

  10. 2. FULL ACCEPTANCE Exodus 4:29-30 – Moses and Aaron brought together all the elders of the Israelites, and Aaron told them everything the LORD had said to Moses. He also performed the signs before the people, and they believed.

  11. 3. FULL ACTION Exodus 5:1 – Afterward Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh.... Exodus 7:6 – Moses and Aaron did just as the LORD commanded them.
