  2. Ali’s story Ali lives in Souf Camp. It is one of six emergency camps built in Jordan since 1948 for Palestinian refugees. Through the years, over 1.8 million people have arrived in the camps. Every day, Ali works at a falafel restaurant. He fries chickpea patties, makes sandwiches, and cleans up. He works 8 hours a day during the school year and 12 hours a day during his summer break. While Ali works, he can see his friends laughing as they kick a soccer ball on the dusty streets. He wants to join them, but cannot. Ali knows that he must work to help his family make ends meet, because severe back and eyesight problems prevent his father from working. For Ali, working long hours every day means more than having less time to play and be a teenager. Working has also been dangerous to his health—two years ago he nearly lost his hand when he dozed off while grinding chickpeas. Luckily, he was rushed to the hospital and his hand was saved. Life for the 17,000 people living in Souf is difficult. Job opportunities are limited and some refugees take temporary jobs in neighboring farms. They pick olives and work the land. For the 3,400 teenagers in the camp, there are few places to meet and socialize. So, when a project designed to teach teenage boys and girls about filmmaking was started at Souf Camp, the young people there were happy. They began by brainstorming a good topic for their film. At the end, they decided to make a film featuring children who have to work to support their families. The teenagers chose Ali as the main character. Then they wrote the script and did the filming, editing, and translation. “We wanted to reach out, make people living outside the camps know what our lives are like,” says Ali.

  3. Summarizing of Ali’s story Ali is a refugee he is a Palestinian people, he move from Palestinian to Jordan with his family. He moved because his home town has a war. Ali is 16 years old he works in a restaurant called falafel restaurant. His responsibility in the restaurant are frying chickpeas patties, make sandwiches and clean up the place. He works for 8 hours during his school day and 12 hours during his summer break. This work is bad for Ali because it is bad for his habit because he almost doze of his hand when he was cutting chick patties, the good thing is that Ali is saved he went to the hospital immediately and his hand is better

  4. My opinion of the article • I think ali should try to get another job because his first job is a bad one • I think ali should make the time less on the summer break and on school day so he can play and do his home work or task

  5. Bible of Mathew 22-37-39 • 37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.

  6. Ten commandments • Many years ago, there was this man.  His name was Moses.  Moses was looking at a mountain and noticed a bush that was burning but never burned up.  He thought that was so strange!  Moses decided to climb the mountain and see what was going on with this strange bush.  The mountain was called Sinai.  Moses climbed the mountain and saw the strange bush and sure enough it was burning but it still wasn't burned up.  Moses looked at it for a while when he heard a voice.  It was the voice of God.  God called, " Moses. " • Moses said, "Here I am." • God said, "Remove your sandals.  You are standing on Holy Ground." • Then God said, " I want you to lead my people to freedom.  Go to them and say 'I Am' sent me.  That is my name for all generations." • The people of Israel had been in slavery for along time and now Moses was leading them to freedom.
After Moses had rounded them together they left and God was with them.  God took care of them on the long journey. He loved the people and the people loved Him.
God asked Moses to return to Mt. Sinai where he gave him ten laws.  God said, "These are My commandments which everyone is to follow."
They were written by God on two stone tablets. Moses took them and gave them to us.
Now, let's see the Ten Commandments given to us by God.
