Section 1: Warm-ups. This is where you will write all morning warm-ups unless otherwise notified. You will have 4-5 warm-ups per week. Section 2: Notes/assignments. Anything done in class that is written on notebook paper that is notes, or any class/homework. Vocabulary/spelling.

  1. Section 1: Warm-ups • This is where you will write all morning warm-ups unless otherwise notified. You will have 4-5 warm-ups per week

  2. Section 2: Notes/assignments • Anything done in class that is written on notebook paper that is notes, or any class/homework

  3. Vocabulary/spelling • All assignments pertaining to vocabulary or spelling

  4. Vocabulary words • Definition • Example • Non example • characteristics • Meaningful sentence

  5. Reading Reactions/annotated Bibliographies • Reading Reaction(due every other week) • 1. Select an interesting quote from your novel • 2. write a 10 sentence reaction to the quote selected including • What was happening at the time of this quote • How it contributes to the story • Does it foreshadow or give you any clues about what comes next • Your opinion • And weather or not you can relate, connect disagree agree etc.

  6. Annotated bibliography(due every other week) • Is a detailed account of what is going on in the story so far, as well as any personal reactions you may have to the story. It must include an MLA formatted bibliography. Must include T.A.R.T • Ex: King, Stephen Different Seasons , Signet Publishing New York City, New York 1983

  7. Writer’s Notebook • Every six weeks you are required to write 3pages front and back. Red margin to red margin, top to bottom. • It will be do the last week of the six weeks, and will be a test grade • I will give you subject matter • It does not have to be the same subject matter for all 10 pages, but needs to flow or have some sort of theme.

  8. CLEAR YOUR DESK AND MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A SHARPENED PENCIL
