  3. Hi my name is Ludwig Leichhardt, I was born in Tredatsch, Prussia; I am one of eight children.

  4. Between 1831 & 1836 I studied philosophy, language and natural sciences at the university of Gottingen and berlin but never received a university degree.

  5. Starting in December 1846, was supposed to take him from the darling downs to the west coast of Australia, and ultimately to swan river and Perth.
