3. The Challenge It’s always a struggle to plan your special event right, put everything in its place. For that purpose, our client came up with the idea of booking platform which should solve the problem with a stable job for local musicians and make event planning easier for customers. Starting with an idea of a simple platform it evolved in a big ecosystem project with web platform and mobile app. Strengths: The concept that can be expanded in a bigger project for event planning Proper targeting as a guarantee of local support Project idea that gives the opportunity to join an international market Weak points: Early stage startup idea Lack of clear specification No availability of in-house software engineers with the required expertise 3

4. Technology set For this complex platform (web), our choice was Angular for front and Node.js (Nest.js) for the back. Because of their consistency and ability to run the big projects smoothly. For the mobile app, we chose Hybrid development to decrease development time for different system versions. And when it comes to Hybrid development - React Native is our priority. 4

5. How it works The platform and app are created to solve the problems from both sides: musicians as well as clients. Gathering talented musicians in one place will give them an opportunity to easily find the job. As for clients, they will have a big range of choice regarding musicians to make their event truly special. All this in one makes the platform and an app a strong and useful management tool. 5

6. HOME PAGE From the main page, you can log in or register as a musician, or simply start the search for talents by genres, locations, reviews. If you don’t feel like browsing through all musicians you can create an event. When you add details to it the musicians who have similar specialty will be notified and will reply to you if they are available. 6

7. musician profile Musician profile has the all necessary information to make a decision about hiring easier. Besides the photo, skills, and price from the profile you can learn: Location Performance details (to see if the talent ready to travel, perform while walking c.) List of the songs available to perform Videos and recordings to see if the musician suits your event Reviews 7 i t

8. booking process The booking process is easy and clear, after clicking on the “get a quote” you need to add information for the musicians to make an estimation and reaffirm some details. 8

9. profile Within the profile, you can see your statistic, massages, edit calendar of busyness and personal info. Check on the existing events and chat. 9

10. shortlist The shortlist option is very helpful when you just can’t peek one from the variety of available talents. 10

11. chat system The chat system is available after the musician has accepted all the performance info and confirmed that he/she is ready to discuss the details. This solution decreases the time of the former discussion and helps to be more productive. 11

12. mobile version Mobile version is fully functional and completed the web version with handy pop-up notifications and chat to help musicians never miss the opportunity. 12

13. payment system The payment system is completely safe, to guarantee the talent will be paid on time the client gets an invoice after the chat discussion, the payment will be held securely and shall only be released to the performer after client confirmed satisfactory receipt of the service. 13

In the future owner wants to expand it in the even bigger platform, including not only the musicians to hire but any talent that you can possibly think of for an event (animators, waiters, bar managers, magicians e.t.c)
