  1. Birth Certificate Birth Certificate is the most significant identity document because it establishes the date and facts of one’s birth. An individual requires certification for availing several benefits offered by government of India to its citizens. For Birth Certificate, there are two processes: 1.Birth Certificate: Citizen can directly apply for the certificate at their municipality or panchayat office by providing the doctors or hospitals certificate, after formalities are done by the recognized authorities like Nagar nigam/palika or panchayat etc. This can be a current service and it’s eligible for below one-year registrations only. 2.Late Registration of Birth: Citizen can apply through nearest Lokseva Kendra and have no need to approach the government offices directly. Through this service, one can apply to register the birth even after 1 year. Required documents to apply: •Physical Document •Non-availability issued by Gram Panchayat / Municipal Administration •Ration Card Copy •Self-Affidavit Birth Certificate Attestation Attestation of Birth Certificates is an act of documenting a birth certificate by authorised person, departments or authorities, with their official seal and signature.
